George Brown Polytechnic has adopted MyCreds!
Please note that George Brown Polytechnic has now joined the MyCreds™ platform. Going forward, the Academic Records department will now be issuing official transcripts, confirmation of enrolment letters, and credentials via MyCreds!
What is MyCreds?
MyCreds is Canada’s new, official credential wallet for postsecondary learners and graduates, owned by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC). George Brown Polytechnic students and alumni will be able to access and share their official transcripts, credentials, and confirmation of enrolment letters through this secure platform.
How do I request my official records through MyCreds?
Current Students or Recent Graduates (within the past year)
Log into your STU-VIEW account and follow these steps:
- Select the Academic Records category from the menu
- Find the "Request Official Documents" card
- Submit your request to access the request form
Former Students (attended more than a year ago)
Complete the Academic Records Request form to request your official transcripts.
How to access MyCreds?
When a document is available, you will receive an email notification from noreply@mycreds.ca with instructions on how to register and sign in.
You can also refer to the How to Register on MyCreds user guide for step-by-step instructions.
What documents can I request?
We are currently accepting the following documents:
- Official Transcripts
- Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) Letters for Domestic Students
- If you are a Continuing Education or Academic Upgrading Student, or you need the Office of the Registrar to complete your RESP or CPP form, please submit this Confirmation of Enrolment Letter: Non-Standard Requests form.
- International students may continue to request COE letters via the Letter Request for International Students form.
The Academic Records team will review and process your request within 3-4 business days.
Please note that future graduates do not need to request their credentials; your digitized credential will be issued to MyCreds automatically a few weeks after the end of each term, and a hard copy will be provided via mail or at your convocation ceremony.
