Follow These Steps:

• Check the list below to find out when you can start to register for Spring 2026 courses.
• You can register at any time after the start date and time for your program as listed below.
• Refer to the "Student Registration User Guide for Students" for a step-by-step guide on how to register for your courses.
• Refer to this video for a step-by-step guide on how to register.
• Book your placement assessment, if required, as soon as possible to be able to register for the appropriate courses.
• Register as soon as possible after the start of your registration time for a wider selection of courses and times.
• Note: If your program/semester is not listed below, but you believe that it should be running, then please contact your Academic Department directly. Your academic department might need to register on your behalf; contact your department for more details.

Important Dates for Spring 2026

• The last day to register or change your registration is Friday, May 8, 2026.
• The last day to add a course is Friday, May 8, 2026.
• The last day to withdraw from a course or the entire program (with the possibility of a partial refund) is Friday, May 15, 2026.
• The last day to withdraw from a course or the entire program (Full Semester - 14 week courses) without Academic Penalty is Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
• The last day to withdraw from a course or the entire program (Session 1 - 7 week courses) without Academic Penalty is Friday, June 5, 2026.
• The last day to withdraw from a course or the entire program (Session 2 - 7 week courses) without Academic Penalty is Friday, July 31, 2026.

All students:

• The first day that you can start to withdraw from courses is the same as the first day that you can start to register.

Transferring your Credits into George Brown Polytechnic

• If you've completed college or university credits, you may be eligible for transfer credits. Visit I want to transfer credits into George Brown Polytechnic for details.
• Eligible students can plan ahead and apply for all transfer credits for core and electives courses in a single application. This includes courses for the current term and upcoming semesters.
• Once you are registered, check your Academic Progress Report (Degree Works) for any transfers that were approved during your admission process and to confirm eligible courses you can apply for.
